What is Leech Woods?
Leech Woods is a haunted trail in Damascus, Maryland that I started in 2021. Like a lot of local businesses, it began as a dream that became a reality through hard work and plenty of trial and error. Everything from branding and advertising to ticketing, pricing, and promotions was handled in-house, which forced me to learn what actually drives people to show up, buy tickets, and come back again. By building and refining our marketing each season, Leech Woods has grown year over year, with this past season bringing in over 15,000 customers in just 13 days.
